Between 14:00 and 17:00 GMT on Thursday 19th March 2020 some customers may have noticed degraded performance throughout the Recruit platform and when viewing candidate PDFs.
The root cause of this incident was due to a sudden, unexpected and exceptional increase in demand of the platform.
Engineers took steps to increase the available capacity of the system bring service levels to normal. We monitor load of the system closely and aim to increase capacity well before any degradation of service is noticed.
