RCA: The root cause of the downtime was a data integrity issue that impacted the UK Sapling Solution. Upon identification of the issue, we immediately instigated a point-in-time restoration of the data. The integrity of the restoration was then confirmed before the service was restored to all UK customers.
A preliminary investigation into the issue has identified a script which was inadvertently triggered on a production system. Kallidus' internal processes have already been updated to prevent this scenario from reoccurring, and engineers will continue to work to improve the robustness of this and related processes. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and thank you for your patience while the issue was resolved.
