Between 09:19 and 15:07 BST on 28-04-2022 users accessing Kallidus products authenticating via Single Sign-On would have experienced disrupted access to their services, with the authentication process being slow or failing. Once logged in services were operational.
Preliminary root cause: Engineers determined that an Azure SQL datacentre change resulted in database connections not being cleared or reused effectively. Senior Microsoft engineers were engaged to assist, it was identified as unusual behaviour within Azure SQL which they were able to resolve.
