RCA: Between 14:39 and 15:04 GMT on 28-11-2023, users of all Kallidus applications may have experienced slow response or errors from the applications.
Preliminary root cause: Kallidus engineers discovered that a network connection threshold had been reached on a group of internal servers This caused a spike in connections, request retries and slow response times on the network device that services incoming requests to the Kallidus products. Failing over to a backup network device cleared the connections and resolved the issue. Kallidus engineers have subsequently raised the network connection threshold and will work towards its removal in future. It was also identified that there was no alert in place for this scenario, which engineers will work to address imminently. Kallidus apologises for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and thanks you for patience while we resolved the issue.
» UpdatedOur engineers have identified the cause of the degraded service and slowness. An RCA for this incident will be posted back on here as we receive it.
Apologies once again for the impact this caused today
» UpdatedWe are currently experiencing slow response times for products in the Kallidus Suite across a subset of customers.
