Root Cause Analysis for the reporting issue:
Summary of impact: Between 08:58 (GMT) and 09:35 (GMT) on 5th December 2019, interactive and scheduled reporting services for the Kallidus LMS, Learn and Perform products were unavailable.
Preliminary root cause: Kallidus engineers have determined that this was due to an issue with a reporting system database lock.
Mitigation: Upon becoming aware of the issue, engineers restarted the reporting service which then cleared the system database lock. Alerts have been put in place to detect future system database locks.
Next steps: Further investigation is under way to understand what caused the system database lock
» UpdatedReports are now back and operational on both Classic and Learn sites. We will be posting a RCA for this incident to this status message in due course once investigations are completed and cause has been identified.
