Post-Mortem

On 09 December 2025, between 16:44 and 16:58 GMT, some Learn customers may have experienced errors when trying to access the product. Root Cause: Our team identified that one of our database servers stopped responding. As soon as this occurred, our monitoring systems alerted us, enabling our engineers to quickly investigate and restart the affected server. We resolved this promptly, and services returned to normal. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience while we worked to restore full functionality.

Our engineers have now resolved the access issue for a subset of customers, and full access is now restored for all affected customers. An RCA for this incident will be made available here in due course. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this matter.

Resolved

Most customers have now reported that they are able to access services as normal.

Our investigation did not identify any issues within our platform. The impact appears to be related to an upstream infrastructure issue, and we will continue to monitor in case of any further disruption.

Update

Our teams are continuing to investigate reports of intermittent access issues affecting a small number of requests.

At this time, there is no indication of a platform-wide outage, and the majority of traffic is being served successfully. We are actively monitoring and investigating potential external factors and will provide further updates as we learn more.
