BusinessObjects 4.3 Update

» View Event Details | Created Tue, 14 Jan 2025 12:00:00 +0000

Investigating

Please note: This message relates to BusinessObjects customers only. Customers using new Kallidus Reporting are not impacted by this update.

To ensure we continue to serve our customers, we need to complete a security update to our BusinessObjects reporting tool. This latest security update also includes a new look and feel. You can read more about that change here. This will ensure we can continue to support BusinessObjects while our customers adopt our new Reporting solution built on Microsoft Power BI embedded technologies.

During this update, BusinessObjects will be unavailable on 14th January 2025, and 28th January 2025. Your schedules that are set to run during this period will be queued, and run once the application becomes available again.

This update will ensure we can continue to offer a safe and supported solution until BusinessObjects is fully replaced by our new Reporting and Analytics solution.

Degraded Service: Business Objects reporting

» View Event Details | Created Wed, 29 Jan 2025 09:28:00 +0000

Post-Mortem

Following the completion of the scheduled Business Objects upgrade on 28th January 2025, a small subset of customers who do not use the .kallidus-suite.com URL domain to access Kallidus products were unable to access Business Objects reports from their Learn instance.

This was caused by mis-configured SSL certificates within our hosting platform for those specific domains, resulting in reports being unavailable for this small subset of customers.

Once the cause was identified, the certificates were applied and the system restarted, which restored access for those customers at 12:17 GMT on 29th January 2025. We have improved our internal processes to mitigate any future occurrence.

Thank you for your patience whilst this was resolved and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
