Degraded Service on Kallidus Perform

Post-Mortem Between 12:00 and 14:30 GMT on 17/12/2019 customers may have experienced difficulties accessing Kallidus Perform. Preliminary root cause: A routine configuration update accidentally introduced a regression. As a consequence of this, the service was disrupted whilst the back-end database systems were restarted. Kallidus engineers will review the configuration management process to introduce additional checks to prevent a similar configuration regression in the future. Degraded Service on Kallidus Reporting

Update Root Cause Analysis for the reporting issue: Summary of impact: Between 08:58 (GMT) and 09:35 (GMT) on 5th December 2019, interactive and scheduled reporting services for the Kallidus LMS, Learn and Perform products were unavailable. Preliminary root cause: Kallidus engineers have determined that this was due to an issue with a reporting system database lock. Mitigation: Upon becoming aware of the issue, engineers restarted the reporting service which then cleared the system database lock. Alerts have been put in place to detect future system database locks. Next steps: Further investigation is under way to understand what caused the system database lock
