Post-Mortem RCA: At approximately 08:00 on 29th February, a subset of customers experienced issues accessing the administration pages in Learn. This was identified immediately during post-deployment validation and the cause determined to be a result of incorrect caching of the authorization server used for authentication. Once identified, the cache for every affected customer was invalidated and cleared, before being re-populated with the correct values. This process was concluded at approximately 09:16. A subsequent technical investigation concluded that this was caused specifically and uniquely at application start up time, for which a patch was immediately rolled out to prevent a future re-occurrence of this problem. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Degraded service: Kallidus Sapling

Post-Mortem RCA: Between 00:01 25-02-2024 and 08:57 GMT on 26-02-2024, users of Kallidus Sapling US will have experienced issues accessing the site. Preliminary root cause: Kallidus engineers discovered that an underlying certificate serving requests to the sites had expired. A failed renewal of the certificate meant requests to services on the sapling product domain was unsuccessful, the issue was identified, and the renewal fixed. Once the required certificates were replaced, traffic resumed to normal. Kallidus engineers have identified areas for monitoring improvements and process updates to ensure this automated and alerted on earlier to avoid future occurrences of this problem. Kallidus apologises for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and thanks you for patience while we resolved the issue.
